A quota of rooms has been reserved for the participants in the city centre. The reservations will be made on “first come, first served” basis. The hotel quotas are valid until 2 months before the congress. After that, we cannot guarantee the availability of the hotel rooms but will assist you in finding accommodation. The hotel fees include breakfast, service and VAT. All hotel fees are payable directly to the hotels.

Room reservation and cancellation conditions

Please mark your hotel reservation on the conference registration form. Your reservation will be confirmed together with your participation. Kindly inform Aboa Congress and Event Services ( of any changes in your accommodation reservation.

Reserved room will be held until 6 pm on the day of arrival. The hotel is entitled to give the room to another guest after 6 pm. If you plan to arrive after 6 p.m., kindly send your credit card information through our Secured mail system to Aboa Congress and Event Services to ensure that the room will be held until your arrival. You can fill in the information on the credit card authorisation form and attach it to the secured email. Note that the hotel will charge your card only in case of late cancellation or no-show.

A reserved room may be cancelled free of charge 2 weeks before the arrival. The hotel has the right to charge the guest for cancellations made later than 2 weeks before arrival (except in case of illness documented with a doctor’s note) or no-shows.

Travelling to Turku


Turku has an international airport and it is easy to reach by air via Helsinki, Stockholm, Riga, and Gdansk. From Turku airport, there is a regular bus to city center (distance approx. 8 km), bus line no 1 which runs about every 20 minutes. Tickets à 3 euro can be bought from the driver (cash, preferably coins).
A taxi ride to the center of Turku will cost around 20 euros. All taxis accept credit/debit cards. Taxi in Turku You can reserve a taxi at +358 2 10041. There are several taxi stands in the City center.


If you fly to Helsinki, from Helsinki-Vantaa airport there is a bus to Turku operated by Expressbus (travel time 2-2.5 hours, departures about every hour). Another option is to take the new Ring Rail Line from the airport to Helsinki, to Pasila station, and change in Pasila to a train to Turku. At daytime, the Ring Rail Line trains between the airport and Helsinki run at ten-minute intervals at peak hours and the trip takes 22 minutes. Trains to Turku depart about every hour (between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m.). The trip to Turku from the Helsinki-Pasila station takes about 2 hours.


From Stockholm, you may choose to travel to Turku on a ferry through one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world. Daily connections between Stockholm and Turku are operated by Tallink Silja and Viking Line. The ferry takes about 10 hrs. Fly Finnair to NSN2019

Attend the Nordic Society of Nephrology (NSN) 2019 congress in Turku on 30 August–2 September 2019 with discounted event fares from Finnair.

The only available destinations are Turku and Helsinki, while your departure location can be any Finnair point of origin in Scandinavia and Baltics. The event fares are available when you book your flights by 3 September 2019 and travel 23 August–10 September 2019.
